Couple Therapy

Couples therapy is for those couples interested in sharing with a therapist part of their journey. Couples knocked at the therapist’s door when there are crisis within the couples (jealousy and betrayal, lack of connection and intimacy, frequent arguments), unpredictable accidents (bereavement, physical impairment for one of the partners, financial and/or professional issues). Sometimes couples engage in the therapy journey when there are changes in their life as a couple (becoming parents, or relocating to a new country). Other times couples want to learn to communicate better to develop their connection and attunment to the partner.

As your therapist, I will facilitate the dialogue between you and draw your attention to your partner’s needs. We will explore resistances in the communication and learn to improve emotional connection.

I won’t take side in a conflict between the two of you but I will encourage you understand the roots of your conflicts.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are weekly or by-weekly, depending on the couple’s need.

I am open to work with homosexual, heterosexual and LGBTQ+ couples.
